On July 12th, 2012, over 60 board members and friends gathered together for a night of cocktails and h’orderves to celebrate the JGSI’s one year anniversary! Thanks to the hosts for the evening: Dr. Steinberg and Eve Kurtin and our Dinner Chairs: Mike Ross, Alona Metz, Ben Brandler and Jason Scherr.
The JGSI has begun its first Executive Mentorship Program for UCLA Anderson and USC Marshall Jewish MBA students pairing them 40 students with 40 Jewish executives from the community. The mentors and will be mentoring the students on career advice, how to balance a family life, while at the same time giving back to the community with leadership as well as philanthropically.
Shalom UC Irvine Law! We have just added UC Irvine Law School as another graduate school campus where JGSI is running Jewish programming. Welcome to the family! We are now running programming at 11 graduate school campuses: UCLA Law, UCLA Anderson, USC Law, USC Marshall, Pepperdine Law, Pepperdine Graziado, Loyola Law, Southwestern Law, Chapman Law, Whittier Law and UC Irvine Law.
